Saanjh Ethnic Studio
From walk-ins only to a boutique Mumbai shops from its phone

Saanjh Ethnic Studio is a family-run ethnic wear boutique in Borivali selling sarees, lehengas and festive kurta sets, with a loyal walk-in customer base built over two decades.
The challenge
Footfall was strong during Navratri, Diwali and the wedding season and quiet the rest of the year. Most customers discovered new collections only by visiting, and the store had no structured way to sell to customers in other suburbs or cities.
Our approach
How we solved it.
Every decision tied back to one question: what makes the right customer take the next step?
Season-mapped content calendar
Collections were planned around Ganeshotsav, Navratri, Diwali and the wedding season, with try-on reels and styling carousels released two to three weeks ahead of demand.
Store visit campaigns
Meta campaigns targeted women within a set radius of Borivali, Kandivali and Dahisar with new arrivals and a store visit offer, measured with store-visit enquiries on WhatsApp.
WhatsApp catalogue selling
A WhatsApp Business catalogue with collection-wise products let customers browse, ask for sizes and confirm orders without a full ecommerce build.
Google Shopping and search
A lean product feed and search campaigns captured high-intent searches like designer saree shop in Borivali and bridal lehenga in Mumbai.
Repeat buyer nurturing
Broadcast lists segmented by past purchases announced new collections and festive previews to existing customers first.

The outcome
Saanjh now plans marketing around demand instead of reacting to it, sells beyond its neighbourhood through WhatsApp and keeps loyal customers informed before every festive collection.
01How can a clothing boutique in Mumbai get more customers online?
Post try-on reels and styling content on Instagram, run local Meta campaigns around your store, list products in a WhatsApp catalogue, keep your Google Business Profile updated with new photos and plan campaigns ahead of festive seasons.
02Do I need an ecommerce website to sell clothes online?
Not at first. Many boutiques start with Instagram and a WhatsApp Business catalogue, then move to a full ecommerce website once order volume and catalogue size justify it.
03When should fashion brands start festive season marketing in India?
Start content and campaigns two to four weeks before Navratri and Diwali, and earlier for the wedding season, so customers see collections while they are still deciding where to shop.
04Can Go Beyond Driven manage marketing for retail stores?
Yes. We run social media, local ads, Google Shopping, WhatsApp marketing and Google Business Profile optimisation for retail stores and boutiques across Mumbai.
